If the thought of what is in your makeup and what you are actually applying to your skin is something you have wondered about then you might want to read this article. The main issue with this is that any problems that occur may not be linked to the makeup because they will not happen immediately. A big problem with the makeup that we use today is that some of the ingredients could actually cause damage to our livers and other organs if used over time.

Titanium Dioxide is one of the ingredients that many cosmetic products contain as it is an additive that gives colour; it is also one of the ingredients of many sun blocks in the US. But this ingredient is carcinogenic so anyone using it could potentially develop cancer from it. However most of the risk of using products with this ingredient should be removed because of the restrictions on the purity of it. It still takes a brave person to put something on their skin that causes cancer and relying solely on the quality control of the manufacturer or their ingredient supplier.
Humectant (Propylene Glycol) is an ingredient which is known to cause problems for some of our major organs but it is used in many anti-freeze products. This is often found in hair products, creams and lotions as well as some perfumed deodorants. Although there are only small amounts of this ingredient used in these products they could cause us problems if they are used by us on a regular basis over a long period of time.
Makeup is worn by many ladies, however when they put it on the first thing they in most cases put on is the earings. Some women don’t do it in this way and instead make use of makeup tips to help them out. And when all things have been applied to the face, to finish off? Nail polish, of course.
